I got sucked into photography at a very young age. Used to spend ages looking at the pages of fashion magazines and making mental notes, until I got my first camera. A Kyocera Yashica 35mm compact.
Grew up on Kodak Tri-X 400 and Agfa ultra 50, and it felt like I was going through a breakup when I learnt that ultra 50 was gone forever. Discontinued.
My educational background is photography and I attained a degree in Photomedia.
Based in London and willing to travel, I'm most well regarded as a fashion photographer. Though a lot of my personal projects are based on series depicting street and documentary photography, my style and approach to photography has always been bold, simple, and unconventional.
I'm always looking for exciting clients to work with, so do get in touch for projects and commissions.
My ongoing project involves me capturing images on my daily commute with one of the images printed, framed, and left on a wall on a random street for a total stranger to give it a new home.
Hi, my name is Uyiosa and I'm coming to a street near you.
